What can be expected from the Public Policy New Voices Internship Opportunities?

As part of our mission to challenge current and future leaders to shape a better world, Salzburg Global is engaging the next generation of changemakers through the Public Policy New Voices Europe (PPNVE) program and supporting the Fellows in making a difference through policy interventions.

In order to help Fellows apply their learnings from the Fellowship in a real-world context, internship opportunities with partner organizations will be identified within European foundations, banks, corporate partners, universities, not-for-profit organizations, public policy organizations, and think tanks. Individuals who complete the Fellowship program will be encouraged and supported to apply for these internships which will last between eight to 12 weeks and will be paid.

We seek internship opportunities for our PPNVE Fellows to:

1. Create a unique career development opportunity for promising individuals from Europe to build their professional experience, skill-set and networks.

2. Offer opportunities for cross-cultural learning and to develop global perspectives.

3. Bring in the knowledge, skills and perspectives of a diverse group of next generation leaders into the work of partner organizations.

What are the Benefits for the Organization?

  • Promoting your organization among a diverse talent pool and identifying potential new hires.
  • Diversifying recruitment pathways and networks.
  • Increasing visibility of your institutional commitment to DEI through the Salzburg Global Seminar community and network of partners.
  • Fostering leadership skills in current employees while gaining functional capacity and fresh ideas.

What is the Desired Structure of Internships?

We are hoping to identify internship opportunities by the Autumn of 2022 and begin place Fellows in internships by late-2022 or early 2023.

  • Payment – Interns should be remunerated.
