Our Participants

WHO IS TAKING PART IN THIS PROGRAM?

Through this Program, Salzburg Global is convening a diverse, cross-sector, international, and intergenerational group of participants, including:

  • Community representatives
  • Educators
  • Social entrepreneurs
  • Activists
  • Leaders in public health, sports, and culture
  • Members of communities impacted by racial, ethnic, economic, and other forms of structural injustice
  • Mayors, public officials, and policymakers
  • Judges, prosecutors, and public interest lawyers
  • Police chiefs, prison governors, and probation officers
  • Formerly incarcerated individuals
  • Academics and researchers
  • Media and communications innovators

Participation is intentionally inclusive and non-transactional, shaped by an iterative process that actively engages thought leaders, practitioners, people with lived experience of incarceration, survivors of violence, and others offering critical and underrepresented perspectives as the Program evolves.

The Program initially focuses on the United States and selected countries in Latin America and Eurasia, with the potential to expand to additional jurisdictions to incorporate further examples of innovative and context-specific justice reform.
