The core purpose of the network is to increase the attention to and salience of the importance of holistic skills development within education systems.
In order to achieve this the network will:
Strengthen policymakers’ ability to deliver education reform. Throughout the first 36 months of the Education Policymaker Network there will be opportunities to share ideas publicly, through public online conferences and strategic publications.
Increase policymaker resources and capacity around breadth of skills, including participation in this network of policymaker peer to peer exchange to learn how other systems have reformed.
Engage with policymakers who are tasked with reforming their education system to deliver 21st century skills. Shape the debate and advance thinking and policy around breadth of skills and education reform.
Provide a means to draw upon cutting edge insights from participants and partners’ existing and future research, policy and thought leadership work.
