The Captain's Ball

Join us on October 25, 2025 for an immersive evening in celebration of the 60th anniversary of The Sound of Music

This sophisticated event will include a lake-side cocktail reception with scenic mountain views, live musical performances throughout the iconic 18th century palace, a seated dinner featuring elevated Austrian cuisine, and waltzing under the chandeliers into the early hours.

Don’t miss the chance to be part of this exclusive experience at the palace where it all began.

All proceeds will go towards the conservation and development of Salzburg Global’s historic home and setting of the iconic film.

All guests to The Captain’s Ball will be granted admission to The Sound of Music Gala (October 23, starting at 8:00pm CET, at Salzburg’s Felsenreitschule) and The Sound of Music Symposium (October 24, from 10:00am-1:00pm CET, at Schloss Leopoldskron), plus access to book accommodation at Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron during these reserved dates.
